Skiing / Germany

The skiing areas in Germany are regarded to international comparison rather as small. That is not to now mean however that we say: Don't go on a trip to Germany for ski vacation.

But - If you want to make parties all over the night there are only two destinations where you can spend your holidays: Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Oberstdorf. Otherwise we would recommend skiing destinations in Austria. Oberbayern The largest ski destination in Oberbayern is Garmisch-Partenkirchen. In 1936 the olympic winter games took place in Garmisch. Garmisch also is well known for the New Year ski jumping.
